this is one of those dive places. it does not look great from the outside or the inside, but it has some really good food. Their fried shrimp is perfectly cooked. They have a spice mix you can add called doggy style that is wonderful! Food at lunch comes out quick and they have great service!
I absolutely love authentic tacos — this place has some of the best I’ve ever had. Terrific food! Their chicken and steak in particular were exceptional. Their margaritas are all the real deal — no mixes used. And they have a terrific outdoor seating area that provides a great spot to enjoy the lovely, quaint Starkville. Can’t recommend highly enough!
A friend got the Molcahete!! It was huge!!! Food is so good. The room is loud but everything else is so great!!!
Per my experiences...GREAT Mexican food prepared FRESH & as ordered. Positively noting, the quality of food at Uno Mas is NOT your everyday Mexican restaurant! Friendly staff who offer great service. Atmosphere is casual & relaxed with Mexican theme. To me, food is reasonably priced. We dined during lunch hours but ordered from their dinner menu. Lunch menu offers a reasonably smaller & very adequate serving size that cost less than the larger portioned items on their dinner menu. Highly recommend!
I've been to about 10 south American-based restaurants in Starkville, and this is the best one I've been to. I've been there 4 times and ordered something different each time, and every time I've ordered, the food has been so good. I've gotten the shrimp quesadilla, several of the tacos, a lengua burrito, a chorizo breakfast burrito, horchatta, tres leches. Everything has been either delicious or just good, except I didn't really like their ground beef, but there's another Mexican restaurant nearby with beef that tastes the same way, so maybe there is a certain way some people make their beef that I just don't like...tastes like water to me. But I really recommend this place if you just want some good Mexican/south American food.

What a great taco place with some of the best authentic street tacos I've ever had. The free chips and salsa are very delicious as well. The salsa has a nice smooth texture to it as well. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for some great Mexican food. Pictured is 2 Al Pastor tacos (pork and pineapple), 1 Barbacoa (shredded beef) and 1 Cochinita (pork). All 4 were amazing.
